Prof. David Z. Jacome is an Adjunct Assistant Professor with the Department of Scientific Inquiry: Institute of Core Studies. He received a B.S. in Physics from Saint Peter’s College (now officially St. Peter's University), M.S. in Applied Physics, and Graduate Certificate in Photonics from Stevens Institute of Technology, M.B.A. with concentrations in International Business and Management, M.S. in Accountancy with concentrations in Risk Management from Saint Peter's University, and Doctor of Divinity from Universal Church and St Augustine's in Christianity, and Catholicism. Prof. Jacome is currently pursing a Doctor of Education in the Educational Leadership K-12 program at Saint Peters University. Aside from his many positions in Business notably as Chief Executive Officer and Founder of various companies, Prof. Jacome is mostly known for his teaching at various universities in New Jersey and New York. Prof. Jacome started his career in education at the age of 18 as an Adjunct Professor of Mathematics and Physics at Essex County College in Newark, NJ. He was later given opportunities to teach various subjects at New Jersey City University, Middlesex County College, Passaic County Community College, Saint Peter's University, Stevens Institute of Technology, and William Paterson University. At the age of 23, Prof. Jacome became interested in teaching at the secondary level. He gained a full time appointment as the Chemistry and Physics Teacher at Benedictine Academy in Elizabeth, NJ. He later taught as the Physics and Chemistry Teacher/Department Supervisor at Hyde Leadership Charter School in The Bronx, New York. Currently, he is a Science Consultant for Union City High School, and assists in Problem Solving for the AP Physics 1, 2, and C sections. Prof. Jacome has Physics 7-12 Transitional G Certificate by the New York Department of Education, NJ Substitute License and is pending Initial Physics 7-12 Certification from New York State and Teacher of Physics Standard Certification by the New Jersey Department of Education.
