Experience
I attended Boston University where I majored in history and English while having French as my minor. I received my graduate degree in medieval history from Catholic University in Washington. I'm currently obtaining a Ph.D. in medieval European history while studying at the Catholic University of America. I love to learn, and my vast amount of education is a true reflection of this. I am a patient teacher. I think empathy and humor are two important parts of my instruction.I've taught world history in the past to college level students, and other topics, as well. I had the opportunity of teaching at Harvard. I feel that being successful at teaching means working with all levels of students regardless of the past academic scores. I enjoy sharing what I've learned with others and thrive on engaging my students that I feel contributes to the learning process. I've worked at many nonprofits in Boston and D.C., and I thoroughly enjoy positions that work to support the community. I'm able to communicate effectively with people of all ages. My hobbies include going to the theater, reading poetry, seeing historical sites, and watching baseball when I have any free time available.
